Just looked at the date, and it hit me with a shock.

Tomorrow will be the 23rd April.

That date should be a date that I look forward to every year.

One to be celebrated.

One to be remembered with joy.

But, I don't.

It is a date that brings tears to my eyes.

Tears that eventually run down my face.

Will this date ever be any different?

I don't think so.

 Tomorrow would have been Emma's 9th birthday.
