Our 1880 House

A couple of times a year, I get a bee in my bonnet about moving.
Not so much moving, but finding a house with a swimming pool.
Samuel loves to swim and during the hot months it would be so nice to be able to just step out into the backyard and take him swimming.

Well, on one of my google searches last November, I came across this house.
It had been for sale for quite some time and over the years I have checked on it.  Always a bit to expensive.  When we first moved to Tampa it was being used as a restaurant.  Then later as a tea room.
Last year we held a Bridal Tea for Joshua's future wife at a place called Lenna Hall.  It was just down the road from this house.  We found out then that the people who owned and run Lenna Hall, also owned this house.  At the time it was being used as a office for medical billing.
Zip forward to November, 2011.
Price had come down......
Showed it to Jim.....
He said, "That would make a great law office".....
"Yeah, and it has a pool!" said I.....
"How much?"
"Let's go look."
We walked in, fell in love with it, and that was that........

We are now the proud owners of a 1880 money pit!

Want to see what it looks like inside?
Want to see what our "first impression" was?
As soon as I find the disk containing those photos, I will share!
